Sidemen Of Note

Sidemen Of Note is comprised of seasoned performers who have honed their craft in studio sessions and on tour.

  • Eddie Kilgallon — Inspired early on by Barry Manilow and David Pomeranz, Eddie went on to become a founding member of the award-winning vocal group Ricochet (Sony Records). He co-wrote the 1997 ASCAP Song of the Year, “One Night At A Time,” for George Strait, and has spent the past two decades touring as keyboardist, band leader, and tour manager for Montgomery Gentry.
  • Tab Laven — For over two decades, Tab has toured the world as a guitarist and vocalist for Art Garfunkel, performing at legendary venues including Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Kennedy Center. He also toured with Mary MacGregor (“Torn Between Two Lovers”) and recorded with Michael Johnson, known for the Top 10 hit “Bluer Than Blue.”
  • Jeff Dayton — Served as guitarist and bandleader for Glen Campbell for 15 years, and has also performed on guitar and vocals with Lee Greenwood and Kenny Chesney. As a songwriter, his music has been recorded by George Strait and featured on The Voice and Hawaii Five-0. A prolific recording artist, Jeff has released 17 albums to date.

Sidemen Of Note brings a unique twist to the tribute/concert experience: instead of merely recreating songs, they share the insider’s perspective of having earned their stripes as real sidemen—touring professionals who played alongside the legends they now celebrate.

This ensemble highlights the music of Art Garfunkel, Barry Manilow, and Glen Campbell—three iconic artists whose catalogues are rich with melody, storytelling, and emotional resonance. Rather than pretending to be those artists, Sidemen of Note offers the next best thing: the voices, hands, and anecdotes of the very musicians who backed them.
